Alistair Deakin, Chief Executive Officer and President

Alistair Deakin joined the KaleidaCare team in September of 2006 as CEO and President. Most recently, Alistair served as President and CEO of CMHC Systems, Inc. CMHC Systems provided enterprise software to over 400 social services agencies that provided behavioral healthcare services across 48 states. In his capacity as CEO, Alistair lead a business plan focused on customer satisfaction and effective account management. Alistair enjoyed unanimous support from his board of directors for improving relationships with customers and financial performance. CMHC systems merged with Creative Socio-Medics to form Netsmart Technologies in October 2005. Prior to CMHC Systems, Alistair worked as CEO of Earley Corporation, a clinical software company serving substance abuse treatment centers. He has worked in a series of leadership capacities with technology companies, and as an investment banker for major financial institutions. He started his career as a lawyer for Legal Services in Atlanta, and holds a JD degree from Emory University and a degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Angela Lee, Vice President of Sales and Service

Angela Lee joins the KaleidaCare team as its Vice President of Sales and Services.  Angela’s career began with eight years of serving children directly as a caseworker and contract manager with the Texas Department of Child Protective Services.  Angela was then recruited to serve as Chief Operating Officer of a national sports franchise, before leaving to launch and manage a technology enabled services company with nationwide Fortune 50 accounts such as Dell, Vignette, Hewlett-Packard, Schlumberger and Accenture.  After selling that company, Angela assumed national account and sales responsibility for two different Health and Human Service Software Companies that served the behavioral health community.  Angela believes strongly that sales is a result of excellent customer service and is excited to bring her experience back to bear on the issues that she cares about the most: supporting those who care for children. Angela has a degree in psychology from the University of Texas.  Her interests include basketball, triathalons, mountain biking and child development.

Kelly Gober - Vice President of Product Development

Kelly Gober is a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW), currently enrolled the doctoral program for Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin. Kelly received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her Master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in Administration and Planning, both from the University of Texas at Austin. Before joining our Team, Kelly worked for over five years in the quality assurance department at Texas’ Child Protective Services, where she participated in numerous multiyear research projects in child welfare related to child fatalities, caseworker decision-making and outcome measurement.

After garnering some additional technical experience as the lead developer with an Austin-based web development company, Kelly retained a position with us. In her eight years with KaleidaCare, Kelly has designed and developed data management and data warehousing tools for the collection and reporting of social services data. She is currently the Chief Technology Officer and is responsible for management of project schedules and planning of future development.

Kelly’s focus in the field is on increasing the human services industry’s ability to provide training, information, and resources for social workers. She plans to continue her efforts toward improving the lives children and families through technology, making resources more accessible and useful for the field.

Chip Bolyard, Director of Account Management

Charles F. “Chip” Bolyard, LGSW joined the Company in March 2002 as an Account Manager. In October 2006, Chip was named the Director of Account Management and oversees the KaleidaCare Customer Experience.  Chip earned a Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees from West Virginia University. He is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker in West Virginia.

Before joining KaleidaCare, Chip worked at Burlington United Methodist Family Services a multi-program and multi-site agency serving West Virginia and Maryland. He served in various roles in Burlington’s residential and community based services programs from Direct Care Staff to Director of Program and Staff Development. He was the System Administrator for then, the KaleidaCare Product.

Chip's view on serving KaleidaCare's customers: "Having been a customer, I understand the importance of prompt and effective assistance. I try to provide the same level of service that I would expect. Social Services Workers' jobs are tough enough; and our job at KaleidaCare is to make the experience of entering and retrieving information on their clients as easy as possible."

Jenna Kitley, Director of Sales

Jenna Kitley, LMSW joined the KaleidaCare team at the beginning of September 2006 as the Director of Sales.  Prior to joining KaleidaCare, Jenna earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Child Development from Vanderbilt University.  Jenna aided in several research projects that entailed determining how children cope with the stress of parental depression and measuring adolescents’ coping and responses to stress.

Following graduation Jenna moved to Austin.  She worked as a Probation Officer in the Deferred Prosecution Unit for Travis County Juvenile Probation. This inspired Jenna to work more directly with children as a social worker through Hospice and Communities In Schools, Inc., as an elementary school counselor/caseworker.

In May 2006, Jenna graduated from the University of Texas’s School of Social Work with a clinical concentration, Masters of Science in Social Work.  Jenna aspires to aid customers in order to help them secure their funding and enhance the support they offer children and families as well as building their KaleidaCare community.
